WTI inserts are manufactured at our plant in Moira,
Derbyshire. They are readily available in 5 standard
lengths, special lengths, pitches and materials can be
manufactured to individual customer requirements.

Thread Repair Kits
WTI thread repair kits are generally available from stock
in a variety of styles, thread forms and sizes.
All WTI thread repair kits are supplied in high quality
robust hinged boxes and include close tolerance high speed
steel wire insert taps.
They are normally supplied with free running inserts,
however, screw locking types can be supplied if required.

WTI Nonpareil taps are manufactured at our plant in
Haverhill, Suffolk.

Inserting Tools

Power Inserting Tools
Power inserting tools are available in Electric or
Pnuematic types and provide a considerable time saving
over manual inserting tools.

Tang Break Punches
Efficient tang break-off is dependant upon several
conditions, the correct diameter tool being the most
obvious factor. However sufficient thread must exist in
the tapped hole to provide the necessary support at the
tang elbow and adequate clearance beyond the insert must
be present to allow for tang deflection.
Assuming those conditions apply, de-tanging is a very
simple operation to perform. The specified limits for
drilling and tapping lengths in tabulated form, have been
calculated to ensure such conditions.
