Drill bits (HSS)

Manufactured from fully heat treated High Speed Steel (HSS), our drill bits are ground with a point angle of 118 degrees and a chisel edge angle between 105 – 110 degrees.

These jobber drill bits are readily available from stock in sizes 2.1mm to 13mm, and we can also quote on larger sizes such as 14.5mm, 16.5mm, and 18.5mm.

When using the drill bit prior to insert installation, it is vital that you are using the correct size. For guidance on which size drill you need, please refer to our product selector tool (below), which will provide information regarding the required drilled hole diameter.
