Power inserting tools

Power inserting tools are a time-saving solution when installing high volumes of wire thread inserts, and they are particularly effective when used in conjunction with tape feed inserts. Available as an electric tool and a pneumatic air tool, we also supply the 1/4" hexagon drive mandrels (AMCs) and front end assemblies (FEAs) to suit.

The pneumatic air tool uses FEAs, which can install both free running and screw locking inserts in 1D, 1.5D, and 2D lengths. You will need an FEA if installing tape feed inserts.

The standard electric tool uses AMCs, which only install free running inserts. A pre-winder adapter can be added to the electric tool so that it can use FEAs, allowing for the installation of screw locking inserts also.
