Tape feed
When used with power tooling, tape feed allows for fast and easy installation of high volumes of inserts, so it’s no surprise that the use of tape feed has become increasingly popular as a means of optimising production. Tape feed is also especially useful when working with small sizes of inserts, as it eliminates the difficulty of handling individual parts during the installation process.
We offer the special service of installing inserts into tape feed as per customer requirements, so as each reel of tape feed is produced to order, we can be flexible in the insert diameters, lengths, and finishes we offer:
- Free running inserts
- Screw locking inserts
- Natural finish or dyed inserts
- Dry film lubricated inserts
- Plated inserts (zinc, silver, or cadmium)
Though the exact reel quantities may vary depending upon the length of the inserts, typically tape feed is available in:
